The rules
You start a run with 10 life. Each question gives you 15 seconds. When you answer, you lose as much life as the number of orders of magnitude between your guess and the truth: a guess 100 times too high costs exactly 2 life.
If the timer runs out, whatever you typed is submitted. If you typed nothing, the game submits 1, which usually hurts.
How to last longer
- Decide the exponent first, the leading digit second. The exponent is where the life is.
- A rough answer in time beats a careful one that never gets submitted.
- Questions come from the same pool as the daily game, so every daily you play is training.
